ASCA Program & Self Evaluations
School Counselors must engage in continual self and program evaluation to ensure that students' needs are being met. I evaluated the school counseling program at WCTHS by implementing needs assessments, utilizing pre and post-tests for groups and classroom lessons, engaging in progress monitoring, conducting mid-year check-in assessments, and engaging in self-reflection and ongoing supervision. I also engaged in program evaluation and improvement plans through utilizing the ASCA evaluation models, detailed below.
